Tourist Attractions in Paris

As the capital of France, Paris is an important city for more than 2,000 years. Paris is called by the nickname "City of Love" and "City of Lights". Today, Paris have become a one of the world's leading centers for art, culture, business, fashion, entertainment. Only the mention of Paris comes from images of world famous landmarks, museums and churches.

It is also called the fashion capital. Paris is the stronghold of some of the world's finest designer names such as Yves Saint-Laurent, Lancoume, Lorial and Christian Dyer. Today we are going to tell you about the major tourist destinations of Paris.

The main tourist destination of Paris is Eiffel Tower. Everybody who celebrates go Paris in holidays wants to see the Eiffel Tower. The huge Eiffel Tower was planted in 1889 and it was designed by Alexandre Gustave. The first floor of the Eiffel Tower is 57 meters high, on where the tourists can reach by Elevator or within 360 steps. Second level of Eiffel tower is 115 meters high.

The first and second floor presents a spectacular view. Its final part is 276 meters high, for which you will need an elevator to go upstairs. From the Eiffel Tower, you can see the spectacular view of Paris. There are also world famous restaurants where you can enjoy delicious food.



One of the most enduring symbols of Paris is the Notre Dame de Paris, which is also known as Notre Dame. It is considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture in France and Europe. This cathedral is a scene containing many idols and portals surrounded by Gargoyles which beautify the deck. From the top of this cathedral, Paris offers panoramic views.

This is one of the attractions of Paris. White Vaulted Basilica of Sacre Coeur is located on the Montmartre hill at the highest point of the city. Every year millions of tourists come here to see the marble architecture and grand interior. Here you can see glass windows, gold mosaics, and the world's largest clock.

In the early 20th century, Montmart was the center of modern art. In the list of artists, such as Amedeo Modigliani, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso and Vincent van Gogh worked there. Espace Salvador Dali is a museum dedicated primarily to the painting of sculpture and Spanish painter.

The Seine River flows through the English Channel, about 800 km in Paris. Boat rides go through Seine river and many bridges, passing through tourist attractions, such as the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Eiffel Tower.
